Cat Country 98.1 - WCTK
General Contest Rules
Only one winner per household. Unless otherwise specified only one entry per person. You may win a Cat Country contest only one time.
Contestants are ineligible to win more than once in 30 days unless WCTK specifies otherwise.
Must be 18 years or older to participate in any Cat Country 98.1 contest.
Listeners who are listening to Cat Country 98.1 on line may not be able to particiapte in on air contests due to the delay caused by audio streaming.
Unless otherwise specified contest entrants do not have to be present to win. For prizes where a random drawing is held to select a winner, the contestant does not have to be listening to the station to win unless otherwise specified. In the event the winner is deemed ineligible, a random drawing will be held from all remaining entries and that person will be deemed the winner.
No substitution of prize is allowed. Prize is non-transferable and non-negotiable. Prize has no cash value. Winners will be required to sign prize receipt, and/or liability release. Winners of prizes valued at $599.00 or more, will be required to sign W-9 tax form and furnish social security number when claiming their prize. Winner is responsible for all taxes relating to the prize.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in and/or travel to any prize related activity.
By accepting the prize, winner agrees to use by WCTK of his/her name, likeness, voice and/or other personal information for promotional purposes in conjunction with this contest without compensation.

WCTK reserves the right to refuse the awarding of the prize in the event of non-compliance with the contest rules, fraud, misrepresentation or counterfeit, illegible or altered identification.
Prizes will be available for pick up at the WCTK studios, 75 Oxford St., Suite 402, Providence, RI within 72 hours of winning. Prizes must be collected within 30 days of the end of the contest. WCTK office hours are 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Proper identification will be required. Prizes must be picked up at our Providence studios unless otherwise specified by our announcers.
Employees of Hall Communications, participating sponsors and their agencies, and their immediate families and employees of other Providence area radio stations and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
Cat Country 98.1 is not responsible if a caller to our station is unable to participate in any on air contest due to telephone problems of any kind including busy circuit, busy lines, inadvertant disconnections or any other act beyond out control. WCTK reserves the right to move on to a secondary caller or winner if for any reason the original call is unable to continue with the contest. Cell phone service changes from area to area. The caller assumes all responsibility for problems if using a cell phone to particiapte in a contest with the station.
Contest rules are subject to change, and the changes become effective when published. Specific contests may have additional contest rules as applicable. All contest rules are available at the WCTK studios.
If the prize includes hotel accommodations, they are always double occupancy and do not include meals, incidentals, tips, telephone calls, hotel room service, laundry service, alcoholic beverages, mini-bar charges, meals, merchandise, souvenirs or any personal expenses incurred during the trip.
Blackout dates or other restrictions may apply as dictated by airline, hotel or participating sponsor. All travel arrangements are subject to availability. If winner is unable to fulfill prize during time period, winner forfeits the prize Trips may not be sold, traded, transferred, or rescheduled to dates other than as set forth in the contest rules. Changing the dates of a trip or other aspects of the prize once arrangements have been made may result in a charge to the winner. Some prizes require travel on specific days. The inability to travel on those dates may result in forfeiture of prize.
For prizes that include an artist meet and greet opportunity, they are always subject to artist approval.
