Chris has been with Cat Country 98.1 since 1998. He got his start working weekends until April of 2001 when he received the call from the bullpen to move into the morning show slot.

Since then Chris fell in love and married his wife, Jen, and settled down in Johnston. It wasn’t too long after they decided to help found the new wing at Woman & Infants! First came Dominic in the winter of 2004. Then 14 months later their second son, Nate, was born. And now, only 18 months after Nate, Chris and his wife Jen welcomed Riley into the world!  So for those of you keeping score at home... that's 3 boys in 3 years!

When Chris isn’t watching the Wiggles, Dora or Diego with his boys, you can most likely find him daydreaming of owning his own boat while kickin’ back listening to some Jimmy Buffett.

As if Chris isn’t busy enough… he also owns his own mobile DJ business called Coastline Entertainment of New England.

As you can tell from listening to the Wake-Up Show, Chris loves having fun every morning and would love to meet everyone who tunes in every morning to join in the fun! Keep an eye on the Matt and Chris Rhode Trips section of the website to find out when they’re coming to your town!
