Hello! I was born and raised in South Eastern Massachusetts and I caught the radio bug my first week of college at UVM in Burlington, VT. I stayed at my college radio station for 2 years, and while I was there, I spent some time as the Program Director, even less time as the News Director and majority of my time working in programming and working the Graveyard Shift.
In my Senior year, after taking some time away from the mic, I decided it was time to try my hand at commercial radio. I started working in the Burlington/Plattsburgh and Montreal market for radio stations that covered all different types of formats: Counrty, Modern/Alternative Rock, Classic Rock and Classic Hits. At these stations, I spent a lot of time on air and getting out in the community while working promotional events. After graduating in 2012 with a degree in English and Sociology, I wanted to learn more about the business end of things, so I moved over to the marketing and sales department. I earned my CRMC for radio sales from the Radio Association of Broadcasters in the Spring of 2013. I learned so much from my North Country friends and radio family, and love I them dearly, but after being called a "Flatlander" one too many times, I was ready to head back down the mountain C=.
I'm so excited to be back in Southern New England and to join such a great group of people here at Cat Country as your new midday girl!
In my spare time you can find me hanging out with my wonderful boyfriend, Mason, and our ferocious little kitten, Mallory; hiking; dancing; skiing; yoga-ing; watching a movie channel; reading; or trying to figure out which curly hair product really is the best.
Thanks so much for listening!!
