A native of Atlanta Georgia, Geoff joined The Weather Channel Radio Network in the Fall of 1995 in a part time capacity. Geoff became a full time employee in March of 1996; providing weather during the afternoon drive to affiliates across the country. In 1999, he made the transition to the morning drive shift he works today. Due to his interest in Tropical Meteorology; Geoff has been a member of the The Weather Channel Tropical Team for several years. Geoff attended the University of Georgia, Georgia State University and earned his Meteorology Degree from Mississippi State University.

Although most of his time has been spent in Georgia, Geoff did spend three years in Connecticut during the early 80’s. Recalling his stint in New England, Geoff says, “I really enjoyed the fact that you get to experience four true seasons there. The falls were incredible and the snow was fun except when I had to trudge through it to deliver the newspaper before school. I also had a great time visiting the Rhode Island beaches and the Cape in the summer.”

In addition to weather, Geoff is a huge fan of all sports (especially Pro and College Football). A devout Parrot head, he has been known to attend a Jimmy Buffett concert or two over the years as well.
