Cat Country Prizes and Giveaways

ATTN:  in accordance with Cat Country's contest rules, only one person per household is allowed to win (1) prize every 30 days.  If you enter multiple contests within 30 days and win, you are only able to accept one prize.   The Cat Pack contest winners are computer-generated, therefore sometimes a participant wins multiple prizes within 30 days.  In fairness to everyone who is participating, Cat Country will only award (1) prize per person every 30 days.  The prize that will be issued will be the first prize won within the 30 day timeframe.  The other prizes will be forfeited, and re-assigned to a new winner.  Thank you for your cooperation!

Josh
Showcase Live proudly presents Josh Thompson in concert on Wednesday, February 8, 2012.  Doors open at 6pm, and the show begins at 8pm.  Standing room only, and free parking.  Advance tickets are $20, or $25 at the door.

After arriving in Nashville in 2005, Josh Thompson instantly began writing and quickly established himself as a country artist on the rise. He received his first major songwriter credit with a song called “Growing Up Is Getting Old” which is the title track of Jason Michael Carroll’s current album. Thompson formed a band and drew in a huge fan base by playing raucous, energetic live shows all over the country. Josh’s raw talent, in both songwriting and performing, caught the attention of hit songwriters and eventually led to a major record deal with Columbia Nashville. Thompson’s blue collar lifestyle influences every song he has written, as he tells his stories with candor, honesty and a good-natured spirit. His debut single, “Beer On The Table,” is one of the most down-to-earth working man's anthems in years, a look at the dance between work and play, and the hard-won, easy-go nature of money that ties them together. 2011 saw Josh take home his first BMI award for his hit single, "Way Out Here". Make sure you catch Josh as he returns to rock the Showcase Live stage once again! www.joshthompsonofficial.com

Showcase Live proudly presents Terri Clark in concert on Thursday, February 23, 2012. Doors open at 6pm for dinner and best seat selection, and the show begins at 8pm. Fully seated floor and loge, first come first seated, and free parking. Advance tickets are $26.50, or $30 at the door.

After years of being one of the biggest names in country music globally, Terri announced that she was going to leave her major label home & focus on making the music that she wanted to make. Yearning for change, she vowed to do things “her way”. What fans got in return was what she called the most “personal” record of her career. To this day, there is no other artist like Terri Clark. In the seemingly endless debate of “what’s country”, nobody will argue that Terri remains one of the most influential performers of our time. Even with all her success, you won’t hear her brag about it. “I love letting people know and see that I am just an every day girl, with a not so every day job, but I don’t feel a “disconnect” with my audience just because I am on the stage…I feel like we are all there to have a great time, myself included, and usually, that is what happens.” While we all face challenges in our lives, few are able to transform them into the kind of messages Clark shares in “Roots and Wings”. “I’ve been learning to be me again. To be the person I was before my Mom got sick. I’m learning how to have fun and lighten up and roll the windows down and hang out with friends and laugh out loud and be a goof ball. I’m really enjoying life and being happy again. That’s coming out on the record. There’s some pretty fun stuff on here that I’m feeling is emerging that hasn’t in the past few years.” Terri Clark’s ability to reinvent herself while returning to the sound that first brought her to us once again demonstrates the versatility of this one-of-a-kind entertainer. To be more concise, “She’s still got it.” www.terriclark.com
