Preschool Lead Teacher

The ASPIRE Initiative at the Rhode Island Foster Parents Association serves youth currently or formerly in foster care between the ages of 14-24. The mission of the Initiative is to ensure that youth aging out of foster care have increased opportunities for successful transition to adulthood.
 
The role of the Case Manager is to work with the ASPIRE team to train and work with youth on an on-going basis to access opportunities in the community and achieve specific goals, such as obtaining housing, education, training and employment. The Case Manager will also be responsible for maintaining case notes and entering data into the information data system. The Case Manager will additionally serve as an adult supporter for the ASPIRE Initiative youth advisory group.
 
Duties include recruiting and training youth in financial literacy curriculum; working with youth to open savings accounts, set savings goals and work toward those goals to purchase assets; facilitating opportunities for young people on the local level within their communities.
 
This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule. Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or related experience, knowledge of the foster care system, and proven experience relating to teens and adults from a variety of backgrounds. Responsibilities - You will set up and operate up and operate CNC grinding machines, producing precision pointed components made of various materials and of various sizes.
 
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and the ability to interpret blueprints required, CNC machining experience desired, ability to understand CNC program and make necessary changes to manufacture parts to specifications.
 
Understanding of machine shop math is required and ability to determine and calculate necessary changes in process to keep parts in specification.
 
Knowledge of inspection techniques, using verniers, micrometers and optical comparators is required.

CNC Set up Operator
 
Tegra Medical is a rapidly growing company in the contract medical device manufacturing sector. We are seeking a highly productive, customer driven CNC Set up Operator to join the Tegra Team.
 
Responsibilities
 
·         Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines including Citizen C-16, Citizen M-16, Citizen L-20, with IEMCA Genius 120 Bar Feeder.
·         Perform various functions such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching of metallic and nonmetallic workpieces, utilizing knowledge of machine tool capabilities, machinability of materials, and shop math.
·          Set up and operate secondary equipment and perform any other functions within the department that may be necessary.
 
 
Shift Assignment
 
Shift assignment is Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6:00am to 6:30pm. Remuneration is for forty (40) hours per week.
 
 
Qualifications:
 
Vocational or Secondary High School diploma or equivalent and at least three to 5 years of experience as a CNC Set up Operator. Formal trades’ apprenticeship preferred. Must be able to read blueprints and have experience working with a broad range of precision inspection equipment. Must be detail oriented and be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, routings, and process sheets.
Good decision making and problem-solving skills and the ability, desire and flexibility to perform a variety of operations is a must. Should be self-motivated, dependable, and efficient and possess a strong work ethic. Must be able to lift twenty pounds but occasionally up to fifty pounds and have good vision to inspect through microscope and good manual dexterity. Must be able to stand at machine for a twelve and a half hour shift and be willing to work additional shifts for overtime as needed.
