For many Rhode Islanders, the Summer can be a difficult time of the year. When children are out of school, they lack access to the school feeding programs that help thousands of low-income families during the school year. This puts additional strain on already limited food budgets. It is also a time of year when donations to the Food Bank are at their lowest.
To help the more than 50,000 Rhode Islanders that seek food assistance each month, the RI Food Bank is holding its Summer Food Drive.
