 Dreading all of the spring-cleaning that needs to be done around your house or apartment?
Well our spring cleaning tip of the day is an easy way to clean your microwave, without using harmful chemicals, because no one likes ammonia flavored leftover pizza!

What you do:
Grab a lemon, slice it in half and toss it in a glass measuring cup or coffee mug with some water. Then turn the microwave on high for about 4 minutes.
Let it sit another 4 minutes and let the steam loosen up all the gunked up food on the microwave walls.
Then just simply wipe down the walls with a wet paper towel or cloth and you’re good to go! |

Try Alka-Seltzer!!! According to an article in reader’s digest… the citric acid in Alka-Seltzer along with it’s fizzing action will clean your toilet sparkling clean!
Just drop a couple of tablets into the bowl and let it go to work for about 20 minutes… when you get back… give it a few swipes with the toilet brush and you’re done!
It also will work on everything from your coffeemaker to your wedding ring! |

Just pour some salt into a paper bag then drop the flowers in there as well… then shake vigorously… (the bag that is) and the salt will absorb all the dust and dirt and leave your flowers looking like new!
